Harvest Festival at the Nature Centre

We went to the Harvest Festival at our local Nature Centre again this year. It was lots of fun.

There Was face painting and sand art.

We built a scarecrow, which we thought was pretty impressive.

It was the only upside down scarecrow, we called it the "Down Under rapper", unfortunately although we got an honerable mention, we did not win any prizes...always another chance next year.

The finished Scarecrow.

We carved Pumpkins.

We did not win a prize for either of our pumpkins either...boo hoo.

The children had a tractor ride.

All five together. Any idea how many photos we have to take to get one like this, oh, about 6 maybe more, there is always one child not quite doing the right thing, blinking, looking away, sticking our a tounge, putting up bunny ears behind another, frowing, not even IN the photo...You'd think they'd get the message, do it right the first time and mummy and Aunty Jo will leave you alone!

J pressing apples to make yummy apple cider. The difference between 'cidar' and 'juice'? Cidar is pressed juice is juiced!
