African Booty

I am not sure if I have ever posted anything showing the various African objects de art that are gracing our home. If not and you are interested, let me know and I'll photograph them.

Here, though, is the latest item from Djibouti, a rug! Rather than walk all over it we decided to hang in on the wall in the stairway. It is pretty cool and D enjoyed the inevitable bartering that went on. I am afraid I am not such a good barterer and would have paid far more for it.
