The inventry of alcohol consumed is rather large, though both D and I had far less that any of our guests of course and managed to stay completely in control for the entire afternoon - although I sang as you can see by the final photo and that means that both D and I had enough to drink to allow that to happen, and the guests were oblivious to the discord!
It was a great day, there were 9 children and they mostly played well apart from W trying to strangle two of the girls becasue they turned off the movie the boys were watching, I had just described how the chn behave when wronged, for J it is traumatic (a bit of hitting back too though) M, runs to me for tear drying, W takes revenge into his own hands - and then he did, twice in 2 minutes, always fabulous when the children prove me right!!
D smoked a Turkey and slow roasted a leg of lamb. We had potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn on the cob, beens and carrots, lingonberry jelly (from Ikea because I had it in the cupboard and we could not find the cranberry at Stew Leonards!) gravy, bread rolls and tomato, basil and mozzerella salad. I made Creme Caramels for desert and we had all the bicsuits and chocolates that our friends brang with them.
Back onto The Beast this morning, but not much school work being done today. It is raining and over cast, cold and dreary. Most leaves are off of the trees now although there is a little bit of colour still - not much longer and the trees will be bare. 12 days until our first anniversary.
Ah, now for the photos!

We had a special guest all the way from Jerrabomberra, S was in NY on his way to Canada for work and we were all so happy to see him.

Oh, there were children here too! for once more photos of teh grown ups - though grown up behaviour was not always seen or heard!

Revelry!

Baby T giving D a helping hand.

The revelers.

Any one who has heard me sing knows that every one must have been pretty drunk to have allowed this to go on for more than one song!

J realising that the grown ups are a little under the influence!
