Yep, because they are from whom the city and the District get its name and that is what we walked around calling it for a week - then another week, so now you are in on the family joke. It's like our joke of pronouncing the s in Tres Bon...oh we are so funny, you just have to come and visit us, how can you stand not to?
Any way, the reason we timed our trip to DC when we did was to take advantage of the Army week Welcome drinks, food locker and of course the Dining in Night. Funny who you bump into at these funtions, even had a taste of that good old Army Wife turn your back on me trick that has been absent for so long now I almost forgot we were still involved with the Army, but there you go, even that was like a blast from home.
Here we are (actually at the end of the night) with our dear friends K amd M.

Well, look who I found, old old old (ooops sorry) friend from Townsville days - my that is a long time ago.

Me and My buddies K and M.

Another old mate, funny but the last time we saw this fellow was at Army week 3 years ago, we stayed with him and his family for a few days - he was visiting DC just for Army week from OZ, what luck.

I have to include this one because it has the Alley guy in it, funny story, but you have to come and visit to hear it.
