Picnic

We met some friends for a picnic last week and a walk around Lenoir Preserve in Yonkers on a lovely warm sunny day. The lovely weather did not last long so I am glad we at least got out into it for a few hours.

We had had a very big storm, lost power for a couple of days and there was amazing carnage around the suburb. Then we had these lovely days - since then cold and more rain. Hoping it will start to turn for good soon.

Some storm damage! this huge tree fell victim to the recent storm, it well and truely blocked the path and whilst it provided lots of fun for the boys, made the path impassable.
