We have been skiing quite a few times over the last month. It has been getting better and better. Last thursday we went again the Thuder Ridge and met our friends there - which was great for all of the children. For the first time we all went down a black diamond (now I am not sure how it would rate at a more challenging mountain, but for us it was a huge thrill) J also went down a slope called "The Face" which is a black diamond right at the front of the mountain and which we have watched others decend with awe. At the begining of the day she would not do anything but the green slope, by the end she had done the blacks so she was pretty happy with herself, she just needed to push herslef a little.
It is very difficult for me to get photos of the children, my boys just whiz down the mountain with me saying...hey W, M I wanted to take a, ah never mind. I hope that when we go to Smuggs in Vermont we can get a skiing photographer to take some photos of us, at least so we have some record of us all skiing together.
We hope to go to Thunder Ridge again tomorrow, Saturday and Monday - just before we leave for Adelaide, so from skiing to a possible 35 degrees will be interesting.
